I just tested asynchronous timewarp on the SDK 0.7 version and it is super juddery. But in asynchronous timewarp mode or ordinary mode it should go faster. But it should have no effect on the speed in synchronous timewarp mode, because I am adding just the right amount of frames to bring it up to 75 FPS already. Right Trigger or the `~ key will make it run at exactly 75 FPS in VR mode because the Oculus submit call seems to wait for a vsync, and the other timing stuff is all disabled. So that's a task for later.īUT I realized that when I press Right Trigger on the controller, and everything goes 2x speed, the head tracking judder disappears completely, and everything is butter smooth (but of course the game runs too fast). But first I'd have to work out some kind of network protocol, then work out how to get each player's position in world space, then add some way of rendering non-game objects and sounds in the virtual world. But they won't have default settings or the correct scale until you create game specific settings and adjust them yourself.
